It is not enough just to visualize for a few times, and then wait for miracles to happen.

- You need to have a strong desire and motivation, and the commitment to do whatever is necessary to achieve your goal.
- You need persistence, concentration, the ability to visualize, and at least some degree of self-discipline.
- You need to learn to recognize opportunity when it appears, and to be willing and ready to take and use this opportunity.
- You need to be willing to act and take the required steps whenever needed, and not just wait for your desires to materialize from thin air or suddenly drop on you from the sky.

In order to take full advantage of the law of attraction you need to know certain rules and follow them. It is true, some people achieve great success, without knowing much or anything about the law of attraction, but they intuitively use it correctly.

The law of attraction is not a method for getting rich quickly, without doing anything. It requires mental work, focus and visualization, and also the willingness to follow the mental work with any required actions on the physical plan.

The law of attraction can manifest your desires in many ways, sometimes obviously and directly, and sometimes in an indirect way, through various steps. Sometimes you might attain your goal in a sudden or miraculous way, and at other times slowly or indirectly, one thing leading to another. People might offer you help, a new job might open, an idea might pop up in your mind, or you your intuition might tell you to follow a certain course of action. These are just a few of the many ways, through which this law can help you manifest your desires.

Making The Law of Attraction Work For You

The law of attraction is not a new idea. It has always been here from ancient times, and people have always used it. Hunters, who painted scenes of hunting on the walls of caves thousands of years ago, used the law of attraction. Businessmen, who visualize and plan what they wish to accomplish also use it. You use it too, whenever you think, make plans or daydream.
Books on this subject started to be popular more than a hundred years ago, but the authors of these books did not use the term "the law of attraction". They called it the law of opulence, mental power, mental magic, the power of thoughts or creative visualization. It is the same law, the same power, only with a different name.

William Walker Atkinson, Richard Ingalese, Opheil and many others, have written books on the power of the mind to attract what one thinks about, many years ago, and these books are still popular and available nowadays at bookstores. Other known authors are Joseph Murphy, Napoleon Hill and Wallace.D.Wattle. Later, Shakti Gawain wrote a book on the subject and popularized the term "Creative Visualization".

All of these books are on what is now termed "The law of attraction". As you see, it is not a new subject, but due to the media, it became a "hot" subject today. If you look around in bookstores, the Internet, TV and the newspapers, you will find many new books and articles on this subject budding every day. It is said that there is nothing new under the sun, just a change of terms or names.

The message of all these books is that if you keep thinking upon a certain subject, you will ultimately attract it into your life. Thoughts, mental images and feelings can move the subconscious mind and the Universal Mind to act on your behalf and manifest your desires.
This is a most inspiring and elating idea, and is the reason why so many people are fascinated by what the law of attraction can do.

The fact is that inspiration and feelings of elation are not enough to make this law work. You need to know what to do and how to proceed; otherwise you will get no results. Just thinking for a little while about what you wish to achieve is not enough, and might lead to disappointment, discouragement and losing of faith in the law of attraction and the powers of the mind, if you don't get immediate results.

Reading books or articles on this subject awaken a sensation of power. The realization that you can transform your life and create success brings excitement and hope, but these feelings can change into disappointment and frustration, if you don't know what to do next.
If you are told that you can attract anything you want into your life, but are not provided with the proper guidance and practical instructions, how can you proceed?

It is not enough just to think about or visualize what you desire for a few minutes, and then let doubts and disbelief fill your mind for the rest of the day.

HELP SELF

Confidence HELP SELF - So many times we limit ourselves because we think we simply can’t do something.
No truer words were ever spoken in regards to improving confidence help self than by Benjamin Disraeli, “Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any higher than you think.”
Use the help self technique of singing your own praises even if no one else will. Regardless of whether or not you have individuals in your inner circle who will tell you how wonderful you, you can become your own personal fan club. Take a few moments everyday to remind yourself of your strengths and what you have previously accomplished. One help self technique that can come in handy with this technique involves journaling your successes, taking an account of your strengths and achievements.

Happiness is the KEY

"People whose sole aim is to be happy turn out to be self-centered, discontented, and restless. But if your goal is to create something beautiful, achieve something worthwhile, or provide some service, and if you work toward such a commitment, happiness is a by-product." –Eugenie G. Wheeler

"It's good to be just plain happy; it's a little better to know that you are happy; but to understand that you're happy and to know why and how and still be happy, be happy in the being and the knowing, well that is beyond happiness, that is bliss." -Henry Miller

The Power of Positive Feelings

You feel powerful and strong. You feel an energy inside you that says "I am here to do something great!" You feel yourself walk into any situation, confident and at peace. You feel successful.
Ah, how good it feels!
Have you ever noticed that we ask each other, "How are you feeling today?" I have never met anyone who asked me, "How are you thinking today John?"
Why is this?
Perhaps it is because how we feel is how we live. If I feel miserable, my life reflects that misery. If I feel confident, then I act confident and I attract into my life that which I desire because I feel I deserve it.
In every moment, you and I feel something. And these feelings we have shape our destiny. Notice I write "these feelings we have". Feelings do not have us; we have feelings.
Most personal development focuses on thinking. Change your thinking and you change your life. I agree, but thinking arises from feeling. If I am holding tension in my body, if I feel tense, then my thinking is shaped by tension. And I react accordingly.
That tension is the result of accumulated thoughts and feelings. And the more thoughts that accumulate, the greater the tension (also known as stress) until ultimately I make myself ill; both physically and mentally.
Positive thinking is a great idea, but it has limitations, does it not? Can you tell me what your next thought will be? Not without thinking about it! And by the time you have come up with an answer your mind has already moved on to something else.
Plus all thoughts are found in the past. One cannot think in this moment. One can only experience this moment and it is this moment and the succession of this moment that make your life. Right now, plus right now, plus right now, equal your life and the results you create.
To make a change in how you experience and what you do with "right now" you must act on the feeling level to make true changes. And by changing how you feel right now, you change your destiny.
We all know of this power. It is a power we are born with that becomes discarded when we are told to stop feeling and start thinking. All limitations exist only in our thinking, yet that is exactly what everyone is telling us to do! Get an education and learn your limits!
If you have ever watched a young child develop, you will notice how they do not accept "no" for an answer. Failure does not stop us until we learn that failure means something bad. We then spend the rest of our life trying to reprogram our mind with clichés about how failure is the foundation of success, but do we really believe it? As children we fall, we hurt, we let the feeling go and we take off running again. As adults we fall, we hurt, and we tell stories about it for the rest of our life to anyone who will listen!
If you want to achieve a breakthrough in any area of your life, stop trying to reprogram your mind and notice how you feel. When you set a goal, notice the feelings that arise for you. Fear? Anxiety? Doubt? They are nothing more than feelings; electro-chemical impulses.
The good news? You can learn to let these feelings go and when you do, your potential has new life and it expands beyond the limits of thought. You feel a new energy when you realize all that prevents you from having all that you desire are these feelings which you have chosen to hold on to because you think, yes you think, they serve you in some way.
No analyzing is necessary, nor programming or re-programming, nor words; just feelings. Powerful feelings.

Boast Up Your Confidence Level!

Help Low Self Esteem!
There is nothing to be ashamed of about having low self esteem. Most people do.
In order to raise your low self esteem you must first understand what help low self esteem is and how critical it is to your lifelong happiness and success. While raising your self esteem can oftentimes seem very complex and difficult, the idea that lies behind it is actually quite simple.
Your self esteem involves how you view yourself, your abilities and how others view you and your accomplishments. When an individual thinks poorly of themselves, believes they will always fail at whatever they set out to do and/or believes other people surrounding them thinks ill of them and their accomplishments, there is low self esteem.

Got Goals ??

Successful Goal Settings
One of the most critical aspects to the process of goal settings is to establish and define your goal. The truth of this very clear in a statement once made by Lee Iacocca: "The discipline of writing something down is the first step toward making it happen."
It is quite one thing to say you want to accomplish something, but without a clear and defined plan; few goal settings are rarely accomplished. It is too easy to get sidetracked without a plan to keep you on the path to your goal.
The first step in your goal settings plan to set a goal is to write the plan! Commit the goal and yourself to paper and you are more invested in the process and therefore much more likely to succeed. "Life Will Not Go According to Plan, If You Do Not Have A Plan!"
The Plan.Success is not an accident. It begins with a well-conceived plan.
Action.Just do it!
Believe it.If you can dream it, you can achieve it.

You can visit this recommended site for more exercises and tips on goal settings: Goals guy
"When we are motivated by goals that have deep meaning, by dreams that need completion, by pure love that needs expressing, then we truly live life." -Greg Anderson
Establish and define your goal.First decide what it is you want or desire to do with your goal settings. Perhaps your goal is to obtain something tangible, such as your dream home or a new car. Or your goal may be something that is less tangible, but will reward you with either tangible benefits or intrinsic rewards. Maybe you want to finish your college education or obtain a job in a specific field. When you define your goal settings, be as specific as possible. "I want to purchase a home by next summer." Or "I want to finish my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and graduate by next spring."
After you have established and defined your goal settings, remember that while it is written on paper it isn’t written in stone. You may need to make adjustments as you go through the process of obtaining your goal, but at least you’re now on the road to getting there!

What will be the significance of achieving your goal-what will be the outcome? What will be the benefits of obtaining your goal? What is the purpose of goal settings for you? Purchasing a new home might enable you to have more independence or give you and your family more space or more security. Completing your education will allow you to work in a field you truly enjoy or give you more earning power.

Envision accomplishing your goal and believe that you can achieve it.It’s easy to say you’re going to do something and quite another to actually believe you’re going to do it. Success of any action greatly depends on how much you believe in yourself and your ability to achieve. If you need to, tape a picture of your goal settings on your refrigerator, your bathroom mirror and anywhere else you can see it everyday. Okay, maybe you don’t even know what exactly what your dream house looks like, but you probably have a good idea. Browse real estate brochures and when you find the house that jumps out at you, clip that picture. Having a visible reminder in front of you everyday will help to keep you motivated.

ResearchResearch what you will need to do in order to complete your goal. Be specific. Find out exactly what steps or tools will you need to achieve your goal. Perhaps it’s saving enough money for a down payment and closing costs for that dream home or enrolling in college and completing a certain number of classes. Write down every step, no matter how small. Also write down what tools you might need to accomplish your goal settings. Necessary tools could be anything from the amount of money you will need for the down payment to school supplies.

Barriers and How to Overcome Them.
So far everything is sounding pretty good. You have a goal and a step by step plan on how to accomplish, now it’s time to get to work, right? Wrong. Plans rarely go precisely as you intended. You must leave room for errors and hurdles and how to get beyond them. Maybe you calculate you will need $10,000 for a down payment on that dream home. You plan to put aside $200 out of every weekly paycheck for the next year. By the end of that time, you should have your down payment. Unless an emergency expense pops up you didn’t plan on. Then what? Plan for the unexpected when planning goal settings.

Once you have your plan committed to paper, barriers and all, it’s time to get to work. On the days when you feel discouraged or feel it’s just too hard, go back over your plan. Make adjustments if necessary. Make a point to glance at the picture of your goal settings at least twice a day; morning and night. Most importantly, believe you can do it.

Positive Thinking

Change your thoughts you will change your life, that is positive thinking!
So, what exactly is positive thinking? Ever heard "You are what you eat?" The same can be said for what you think. What goes in your mind has the power to shape what you think, what you believe and ultimately how you behave. Subliminal motivation, the act of repeating the same affirmation over and over, has the ability to generate amazing changes.
